Apfelsine is the German word for orange (the fruit, that is), so it’s no surprise that that was the name bestowed on this variety, which sports large open bell shaped flowers of richest, well, orange. It’s a good strong upright grower and will form a rounded bushy shrub with flowers in profusion right through the growing season.
Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 100 cm to 150 cm.
We originally sourced Abutilon Apfelsine from a German grower, and we believe it to be one of their named varieties.
