Eric’s Boy makes a good sturdy shrub with lots of large and very striking brick red flowers, well veined and with nicely contrasting almost parchment coloured calyces. Very showy.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 150 cm to 200 cm.

We originally sourced Abutilon Eric’s Boy from the holders of the national collection: it is a T3 introduction from 2013.
