ABUTILON LILAC WONDER

Abutilon Lilac Wonder has flowers whose deep pink to purple colouration is certainly best described as lilac and, we suppose, wonderful. Very beautiful: the only thing missing is the scent that its namesake possesses. But then you can’t have everything.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 100 cm to 150 cm.

We originally sourced Abutilon Lilac Wonder from a German grower: it is one of their named varieties, introduced in 2009.

Abutilon Lilac Wonder is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant deep pink to purple bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
