ABUTILON NABOB

Abutilon Nabob is an old variety, dating back to the 19th century, but still one of the very best, with large deep maroon bell shaped flowers from spring to autumn, a strong upright habit and striking dark hued stems. A remarkable sight in full bloom.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. To 200 cm or more.

One of the abutilons that Rob saw long ago in the conservatory at Knightshayes in Devon and that helped kindle his passion for these plants.

Abutilon Nabob is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant deep maroon bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
