ABUTILON SONNENKIND

Very large, very open bell shaped flowers in a distinctive and highly unusual shade of warm pinkish orange are what sets Abutilon Sonnenkind, or Sun Child, apart from the rest. A lovely thing in bloom, which is most of the time.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 100 to 200 cm.

We originally sourced Abutilon Sonnenkind from a German grower, and we believe it to be one of their named varieties.

Abutilon Sonnenkind is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant pinkish orange bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
