ABUTILON x SUNTENSE

Probably the hardiest form of abutilon - or Corynabutilon, as we should now be calling it - x Suntense is a large upright shrub with felted leaves and clusters of light to dark mauve saucer shaped flowers in summer. It’s as close to blue as you will get in the world of abutilons. It can be rather straggly in habit unless kept in check by pruning so it suits growing against a wall rather well.

Hardy to around -10C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 150 cm to 300 cm.

Abutilon x Suntense is a fast growing hardy shrub with felted leaves and light to dark mauve flowers throughout the summer suitable for a sheltered position in sun or semi-shade.
