Estella’s Little BIrd is a relatively new arrival on these shores, hailing from the USA. It’s a Megapotamicum hybrid but has a nice compact upright habit, throwing out plenty of branches which are decorated along their length with dainty clear yellow flowers throughout the summer months. We like the flared edges on the petals.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 50 to 100 cm.

Abutilon Estella’s Little Bird is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant clear yellow flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
