The name Fairy Tales is an appropriate one for an abutilon whose shell pink flowers, with darker veining, have an air of ephemeral delicacy about them. Makes a nice bushy but fairly compact shrub.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. To around 120 cm.

We originally sourced Abutilon Fairy Tales from a German grower, and we believe it to be one of their named varieties.

Abutilon Fairy Tales is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant shell pink bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.

This cultivar is unfortunately no longer in our collection, having been lost in the winter of 2022/23.
