Marion is one of the very best orange-flowered cultivars, sporting large open well veined flowers in a vivid strong shade of said colour. It’s a vigorous grower and can form quite a large shrub, though it is easily kept more restricted by regular pruning. Sometimes called Orange Marion, and not to be confused with Marion Stewart, which is a very different variety.

Hardy to around 0C, though may be hardier than that. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 150 cm to 200 cm.

Abutilon Marion is a tender evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant vivid orange bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
