Abutilon Pictum var. Thompsonii has as its principal characteristic divided dark green foliage conspicuously mottled and splashed with creamy yellow variegation, among which hang open bell shaped salmon pink blooms. Not a particularly prolific bloomer, but the foliage makes up for that. An old and popular variety.
Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 150 to 200 cm.
