Souvenir de Bonn is an old variety of abutilon, popular in the Victorian era for the variegation of its maple-like leaves, which are deep green edged with cream. The veined orange flowers are striking in contrast to the foliage, though not as numerous as in some other hybrids. Its vigorous upright habit makes this a splendid feature plant, whether in the ground or in a large container.
Hardy to around 0C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 150 cm to 250 cm.
