A fairly new introduction, Abutilon Tango is one of the Dancing Ladies series created by Steve Yandall in the early 2000s and bred for hardiness and vigour. Tango forms a tall arching shrub with dangling flared bell shaped flowers in an eye-catching shade of flaming orange veined with red.
Hardy to around -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 100 cm to 200 cm.
As our much-loved cat was called Tango, we are obliged to grow this variety. No question.
Abutilon Tango is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant rich orange bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
Abutilon Tango is available from Paddock Plants.
