ABUTILON FOOL’S GOLD

Abutilon Fool’s Gold boasts choice dangling flowers, golden orange in colour with noticeably flared edges to the petals and prominently marked with dark reddish veining, from spring through to autumn. An unusual and very attractive form.

An American cultivar from the North Carolina nursery Plant Delights, bred by Tony Avent in the early 00s.

Hardy to around 0C to -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 100 cm to 150 cm.

Abutilon Fool’s Gold is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant golden orange bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
