ABUTILON LOUIS MARIGNAC

Louis Marignac is an old and very beautiful abutilon cultivar, with a plentiful supply of rounded sugar pink flowers on a sturdy plant.

Awarded a first class certificate as a new flower by the Royal Horticultural Society at their Chiswick Trials in 1878. Likely to have been brought to the UK by English nureryman William Bull from the French nursery of Victor Lemoine.

Hardy to around 0C, perhaps lower. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 100 cm to 150 cm.

Abutilon Louis Marignac is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant sugar pink bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
