ABUTILON PATRICK SYNGE

Abutilon Patrick Synge bears the name of a 20th century botanist and is a splendid upright Megapotanicum hybrid with nice sturdy dark stems along which dangle deep orange flowers with contrasting dark brownish red calyces. Good against a sheltered wall or fence.

Hardy to around -5C. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. To 200 cm.

Abutilon Patrick Synge is a half hardy evergreen shrub with maple like foliage and pendant deep orange bell shaped flowers in spring, summer and autumn.
